Our Team

At Eunice Christian our vision is “To Educate for lifelong success and enrich with Christian purpose!” Our daily bible classes and weekly morning chapels will give our students the Biblical foundation our students need to navigate an ever changing world. Our students will experience daily worship, prayer, and devotions first thing in the morning and will be incorporated throughout our curriculum. We believe by setting this type of Christian environment we provide a safe and nurturing atmosphere where they can explore and understand their identity in Christ.

Our Staff
Here at ECA we understand the great power that educators have over our children. That is why our teachers have a degree and/or are certified along with years of experience in the classroom. We are passionate about providing the best education possible while instilling Biblical practices. We are dedicated to raise an army of world changers who are encouraged, equipped, and empowered to do the extraordinary. As leaders we are not only dedicated to help our students grow but we are also dedicated to making sure we are growing and pouring into our students from a full cup!

It is overwhelming to see what began as a God-sized vision transform to a simple burden to a life giving reality. I am thankful for New Hope Church, the teachers, and staff that took a step of faith and believed in the vision. My Husband, Chris, and I have been pastors of New Hope 8 years and I absolutely love this community. My heart is to see the Church become a beacon of Hope to Eunice and the Acadiana Area. I believe it’s our responsibility as parents and followers of Jesus to make sure our children not only have academic success and growth, but also truly know God and learn the one thing that will sustain them throughout their lives- how to seek Him. It is our mission at Eunice Christian Academy to do just that: to Educate for lifelong success and enrich with Christian purpose! Our prayer is to provide the very best education possible with a commitment to encouraging, equipping, and empowering the next generation of young leaders to have more impact on the world than it has on them!

Joy Jodon

Principal

I have been blessed to be an educator for over 17 years. During my career I taught at the elementary level, including 3rd grade, 4th grade, and Kindergarten. Most recently I have served in the role of Reading and Math interventionist at the middle school level. At the parish level, I served as a teacher leader for curriculum and obtained certification as a teacher mentor. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and a Master’s Degree in Administration and Supervision. I have been married to my husband, Keith Jodon, for 23 years and we have three sons. The opportunity to be a part of developing Eunice Chrisitan Academy is a blessing from the Lord, and I am excited to watch it flourish.
